Day 01 : Yangon ( L, D )
Arrive Yangon International airport by international
flight. Welcomed by our local tour guide and transfer to
hotel. Start Yangon city tour at Sule Pagoda which is
situated in the colonial style city center. After lunch
visit to Chaukhtatgyi reclining Buddha image and magnificent
Shwedagon pagoda: Myanmar’s most recognizable symbol, if not
all Buddhism world. Welcome dinner at floating Royal Barge (Karaweik)
with cultural show and overnight at hotel. |

Day 02 : Yangon–Bago–Kyaikhtiyo ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure for Bago, 80Km to
the north of Yangon. Visit Kyaikpun pagoda: four huge Buddha
figures seated back to back, Bago colorful market and
ShweTha lyaung reclining Buddha image. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch journey continues to Kyaikhtiyo
across the rice fields and many typical villages. Arrive Kin
Pun base camp and take a truck up to hotel. Dinner and
overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Kyaikhtiyo–Yangon ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion to
Kyaikhtiyo,Golden Rock which is delicately balanced on the
edge of a cliff. The legendary Golden Rock is supposed to be
one of the most venerable pagoda after Shwedagon and
Mahamuni Buddha image. After visit, return back to Yangon
through typical landscape of Ayarwaddy delta. Dinner and
overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : Yangon–Mandalay ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Yangon airport
for the destination of Mandalay
(01:20 hrs flying). Arrive Mandalay and transfer to hotel.
Mandalay is supposed to be art and cultural centre of
Myanmar. Mandalay sightseeing starts at Mahamyatmuni temple
which houses the most important Buddha image of the whole
country. Stop to see stone and wood carving and also
fabrication of traditional marionette and tapestry. After
lunch proceed to gold leaf workshop, Shwenandaw teak wood
monastery and Kuthodaw world largest book pagoda. Sunset at
Mandalay Hill. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Mandalay–Amerapura–Sagaing–Mandalay ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast departure for
Amarapura, city of immortality and visit traditional
hand-woven silk workshop and U Bain teak bridge built in
1778. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon visit
religious Sagaing hills to enjoy panoramic view over the
Ayarwaddy river. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Mandalay–Bagan ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning transfer to jetty for
the destination of Bagan by local boat along the Ayarwaddy
river (about 10:00 hrs crusing). Arrive Bagan in the late
afternoon. Bagan is known as the capital of four million
pagodas and is also one of the richest archaeological sites
in Asia. Check in hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Bagan ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. Bagan morning sightseeing with Nyaung
Oo local market. After market, continue to visit Shwezigon
pagoda built by King Anawratha in the early 11th century, Htilominlo temple and Wekyi-Inn Gubyaukgyi temple. Lunch at
local restaurant. In the afternoon visit to one of the
famous lacquer ware home industry to observe their
traditional method. Continue to Ananda temple: a masterpiece
of Bagan period architecture with four giant standing
Buddhas and Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi temple noted for well-
preserved superb murals painting of Jataka scenes. Sunset
watching from the top of a temple. Enjoy dinner with
cultural show and overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Bagan ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast visit the site of
Tayokepyay temple in Minnan Thu Village: Phaya Thone Zu and
Nandamanya Temples noted for exquisite murals of 13rd
century: Kyat Kan cave monastery, a famous meditation
retreat in Bagan. Continue to farming villages around Bagan
to gain insight into the lives of the local people. After
lunch, some further temple visits excursion by boat on the
Ayeyarwaddy river to watch the sunset over the plain of
Bagan. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09 : Bagan–Popa ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion trip to Mont Popa (
01:00 hrs driving) which is famous as centre of animist
spirits known as Nats. Lunch at local restaurant. Leisure at
Mont Popa. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Popa–Kalaw–Pindaya–Inlay ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast journey continues to
Kalaw across many villages and plateau Shan. Lunch in a
local restaurant. Stop at Kalaw. And then continue to
Pindaya to see extensive limestone caves where more than
6000 Buddha images can be found. Drive down back into the
valley for the direction of Inlay Lake. Check in hotel.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Inlay ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion by boat on the lake
includes floating gardens and villages, unique leg rowers
with their fishing method and magnificent natural scenic
beauty. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon visit
Phaung Daw Oo pagoda, the weaving village and Nge Phechaung
monastery where jumping cats live. Dinner and overnight at
hotel.

Day 12 : Inlay–Heho–Yangon ( B, L, D )
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Heho airport for
flying back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon and check in hotel.
After lunch, visit the most elegant market of capital called
Bogyoke and animated colorful china town. Dinner and
overnight at hotel.

Day 13 : Yangon ( B, L )
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to Nanthida jetty to
learn ways of life of local people, Botahtaung pagoda one the
river bank and Yangon’s unique glass factory. Lunch at local
restaurant. Leisure at hotel before departing to Yangon
International airport for next destination.
