The Amata Resort & Spa is located near the delightful Mya Pyin village at Ngapali Beach. The nearest airport is at Thandwe, an enjoyable 15 minute drive from the resort. Thandwe Airport is a convenient 45 minute direct flight from Yangon.

There’s plenty to do in the surrounding district including fishing, boating and sun baking in the Bay of Bengal, or a visit to Thandwe for shopping or to simply observe the colourful life and customs of the local Rakhine people.
